Nice hotel
Hampton Inn DurangoReally comfortable and clean hotel with friendly staff (especially Amy at the front desk). The doggy area was on a steep rocky slope, though. So we made do with the strip of grass along the road.
Dog tolerant, not dog friendly
Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Love FieldThe hotel is beautiful and quiet, but it is NOT set up for pets. The only place that has dirt or grass is down the elevator to the basement, walk through the dimly lit parking garage, around the parking gate, in the back of the hotel with inadequate lighting at not. It is a beautiful spot during the day with a water way and walking trail, but at night it is not safe. Since the hotel is right next to Love Field, the airplanes literally take off over your head. The noise of the planes, the darkness and the traffic noise was too much for my pup. She wouldn’t pee during my one-night stay there.
Great experience
Drury Inn & Suites AmarilloThis was a great place to stay with my dog. She weighs 40 pounds, and I bring that up just because I always look for easy maneuvered hallways and stairwells. Easy access to green areas outside. The hotel is noisy, so I had to sleep with the tv on. Could hear dogs barking and doors slamming. And there are only 2 slow elevators.
