A Mud Pile!!!

For many months the Golden Isles Dog Park on Egret Drive was a 5 star rating. Sadly, the large dog section has deteriorated badly. Specifically, there is standing water and mud most of the time even when there has been to recent rainfall. We suspect that the water is seeping upward from the ground... hopefully not sewerage! Lately, all dogs (small and large) have been using only the small dog section which has no standing water or mud. This could be a problem when small and large dogs mingle. Size does matter.

Another problem with both sections is bagged dog waste that often fails to get removed on Thursday, the day the park is closed.

City officials say they are "looking into it" but that is too little too late.
