We were staying at another hotel in town, but my in-laws stayed at this one this weekend. They tried canceling the reservation while still on the phone with the hotel during their initial call to reserve, & they wouldn't let them because "you didn't purchase the trip insurance." She had just gotten the confirmation number 2 sentences earlier when she tried calling another number they gave her to try to cancel. They just referred her back to the hotel front desk.
The pool was murky when they arrived on Friday afternoon. You cant see the bottom of the pool. They said their room smells. The breakfast bar ran out of waffle batter & they refused to make more. We wont be staying here in the future.

Front desk is courteous & accommodating. Rooms are clean. Our shower does appear to have some water damage above the shower walls on the drywall, but doesn't look moldy or anything. Beds are alright for comfort. Ac was quiet. Plenty parking. This weekend there's 4 truck with deck over trailers hauling two 4-seat razor each parked in the back, bit there's still room for cars. Dog area outside isn't marked well. Pool room is hot until you've been in the water for a while, then it's really comfortable. Pool was clear. Plenty towels. There were some kids flotation devices there, not sure if they're there for guests or if someone forgot them. Unless we find a cabin to rent in the area, i believe our family will be frequenting this hotel in the future when we come to the area to visit friends.

Stayed Saturday of Memorial day weekend 2025. All of the reviews were great. Any bad reviews were from years ago, so I thought we wouldn't have any problems. Place itself is super cute. Walked into the room to a pungent smell like someone who stayed long term wasn't very clean. The blankets were stained. The beds were not comfortable. Maybe because it was a pet room it wasn't fully updated? I bought a bottle of Febreeze to try to counter the smell, it didn't work for long.
In the morning found a bunched up fluorescent yellow fabric behind the dehumidifier in the room. Unsure if it was a cleaning rag or someone's undergarment. I didn't investigate further. I did alert the front desk of the smell & what was behind the dehumidifier at checkout. My boyfriend said it would be great for a guys weekend fishing trip, but I didn't find it suitable for our impromptu family trip to Door County with our 2.5 year old who kept telling me she didn't like this room either. The location itself was quiet & there is plenty of room on the property to walk your dog.

I think every staff member working stopped to say hello to our pup & our daughter. A fresh bowl of water was brought for him as well as a few milk bones. It was great to be able to enjoy our meal without needing to leave our vehicle running in the parking lot. The food (& the bloody mary) was delicious as always!

No complaints possible! Hotel is clean. Staff is friendly. Lobby is locked after 1130 & a key is required to enter the building. Breakfast has great options available. 2 restaurants right next door. Parking lot is well lit but does not shine into your room. Pool looks great for families and kids. Plenty of doggie bags for clean up around the outside of the facility. Beds were comfortable. Showers & exhaust fans were quiet so I didn't feel like I was waking up my neighbors when I arrived at 1130 pm and wanted to shower before bed. Ground floor has doors that open from your room to the parking lot if you want one. I was traveling alone and arriving late so I requested a second floor room to avoid that option. Stayed one night on both legs of my trip and plan to return on future trips.

Ended up here over the New Years weekend when our vehicle broke on a Saturday evening while traveling through on 694. Got the room booked with the assistance of a BringFido representative. The front desk attendant got us in a quite room at the end of the hall on the second floor closest to the pet area, and on the back of the hotel so there was no noise from the pool or restaurant. Our room was clean, the bed was more than comfortable. The front desk attendant helped us locate a pizza delivery that was still delivering that late at night. The McDonalds next door was great as the stay was unexpected and we were unable to drive anywhere for meals. And the entire staff was more than accommodating on Monday with a late checkout and making sure we got our vehicle fixed & all our Christmas items reloaded without needing to hurry. The pet area is narrow, but long, and was enough that I could walk my dog so he could find a place for his morning routine. I wasn't able to use the pool area, but it is beautiful and there were many families enjoying it all weekend.
