Delicious Food and Dog Friendly
Carmel BelleThis is exactly the type of place I hope to find on a site like this. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and there were well behaved dogs both outside and inside the building. I'm not sure what the official policy is on dogs inside the actual restaurant area, but it seemed fine to bring them into the mall at the very least. I did also see a dog passing through the restaurant area when their person was ordering food. We snagged one of the outdoor tables and ate outside. You really only need to go inside once to order and they'll bring your food to you. That's what we did and it worked great.
Great for All Skill Levels
Garland Ranch Regional ParkThis is a great dog-friendly park. We got in a good challenging hike with our dog and she was off leash the whole time. She did attract some ticks but we got them off quickly and that just comes with hiking in this area. There is a range of trails for all skill levels. Highly recommend!
Wish We Lived Closer!
Stray Dog Pub & CafeOn a cross-country move during the winter with our dog, we were so tired of takeout. Stray Dog Pub & Cafe was a great stop as we were able to bring our dog inside to eat and there were lots of fun options on the menu for the humans. The pub is kind of like a dive bar except cleaner than your average dive bar and with great service. They also had some fun beers on tap. I wish we lived closer a we'd go once a week. Highly recommend!
Extremely Dog Friendly Back Patio
Timber! This is a great locally-owned restaurant that is very dog friendly. The servers fawned over our pooch and brought her water. We were able to reserve a private heated tent on the back patio on a very cold night, which allowed us to have a nice dinner out with our dog. You have full control over the heater and radio, and the tent is very comfy and feels like a special event. If interested, definitely reserve as the tents are popular. Great craft cocktails too.
