Great!

The Purple Goat

Hands down the most dog friendly place I’ve ever been to— their outdoor “patio” feels more like a building than a patio, so I was astonished when they seated me with my dog in there. She’s a big dog so it was even more surprising— and she wasn’t the only one! They have a menu full of interesting, new foods, which are really refreshing, and even have a dog menu! It was also lovely (and funny) to see them bring Oakley a bowl of water with the human drinks. Great place, I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend stopping here with your dog.

Fantastic!

Stumpy's Lakeside Grill

Highly dog friendly— most seating is outdoors. My dog loves the by the water seats, because people always are feeding the birds! She’s a Labradoodle so the bird drive is pretty strong, so she finds it really interesting to watch all the ducks and geese.
Food is great too, lots of seafood and their burgers are great. Friendly staff and usually friendly customers.
Great spot, but its usually pretty busy so be aware of that.

Fun! Dogs are welcomed

Grumps Burgers

Staff was very friendly, and loved having the dog there (even went as far as to pet her). The seating was spaced well, so my dog could actually roam her full leash length. Food was good.. REALLY good sweet potato fries. And there’s a little whiffle ball field right by the outdoor patio, which seemed to be entertaining everyone’s kids. Overall, a great spot where fido is more than welcomed.

Nice spot, decent food

Mesquite Pit on Lake Granbury

Stopped here with the dog and group of five. They sat us out back on the patio with a fantastic view of the lake, with a grass area, trees, and dock just a few feet away from the patio. Seating is a bit tight with an active puppy... but the staff ignored her. The vibe and music were great, the food was good but definitely not the best. Service was fine, a little slow. Overall I’d say it’s a neat joint if you want to sit outside and relax, especially if the other spots on the water are busy.
