The room was spacious, but in need of updating and a good clean. Guests with dogs are relegated to the back of the motel. There is a $45 additional per night charge when you bring your pup, There was a pretty good sized grassy area for dog potty breaks. There was a set up for bags, but it was empty all four of the nights we were there. The location isn’t bad, but be aware that it’s a mile walk each way to and from town. The town itself is not unfriendly to dogs, but it’s not very dog friendly either. Restaurant choices with your dog are pretty scarce. Nice hiking in the area and we had a good time outdoors with our dog.

It was a beautiful hike with our pup, along the lake and then hiking to the waterfall.

I definitely felt welcome to have my dog there.
