Great food and patio setting
The Fat MermaidWe brought our dog to the outdoor patio, right along the Valdez harbor. The smoked salmon pizza was phenomenal. and they have a sizable menu to choose from.
Great natural trails for dogs and owners
Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl RefugeThis property was a dairy farm but I’d now managed by Alaska Fish and Wildlife. There’s restrooms, doggie bags, and information boards. The dirt trails are short segments and we’ll-marked. The trail through the trees was beautiful, and the pasture trails have Fromme flowers and Sandbill Cranes I. groups. Highly recommend this location lovely location.
Big grassy space
Baxter's Dog ParkWe were glad to find this large park for Toby to zoom around in. it was clean except for near the fences. It’s a nice neighborhood dog park.
Great craft beef and food
Superior Bathhouse BreweryLocated on Bath House Row in Hot Sorings NP, we were pleasantly surprised to be able to dine indoors with our dog. We sat at the counter table in the back. Dog was given a logo bandanna too. Craft beer flight all great.
Catfish Row Art Murals, Vicksburg
Riverfront Park - Permanently ClosedYou can walk your dog to explore the children’s art, art in the park, and the art murals depicting the history of Vicksburg before the Civil War to present times. Great for families and dogs.
Driving Tour encourages stops
Vicksburg National Military ParkWe also were welcomed by a ranger and got the Bark Ranger info. We made many stops where we took our dog to explore numerous siege places complete with the battle markers, carved monuments, and details of Vicksburg. Impressive way to “relive” the battlefield events.
Enclosed patio, tasty food
Newk's EateryGreat place to have delicious sandwiches, salads, and soups on the small outdoor patio that features five 2-top tables.
Great French Quarter Experience

NOLA City BarkBefore you can get a temp permit you must bring current vaccination record to administration office. You’ll use a key card to enter. it’s a very well maintained large grassy park with some shade. Pools, seating, and dog wash sprayer provided.
Nice park
Roger Scott Athletic Complex Dog ParkJust as described by others, we liked the natural sand and leaves surface. Big enough for lots of zoomies. Fresh water tap and doggie bags stocked.
Jacos great for dogs and humans
Jaco's Bayfront Bar & Grillewe were in Pensacola during a rain storm so other places were not seating on their patios. We enjoyed a great quality lunch before the rain. Water for dog offered right away and we had views of the harbor.
Great for doggie and humans
Doc Ford's Rum Bar & Grille St Pete PierOur dog got 3 refills of water while we enjoyed watching the people and wharf sights. Service was slow today - it was Sat - but the food is excellent and reasonably priced.
Large park near St. Pete Pier
Dog Park at North Shore ParkVery well maintained with a couple dozen dogs playing well together on a Sat am. From there we walked the short distance to the St. Pete Pier which is a great family destination and dog friendly.
Dog friendly and good food
Mattison's City GrilleThe large covered outdoor patio was wonderful for Al fresco dining with our dog. He received a water bowl right away, and we were relaxed for our lunch. Great people watching spot too. $$
