Good stop with 2 Goldens
Homewood Suites by Hilton FlorenceStayed here one night on long journey driving from Maine to FL. Always have good luck with this brand. Rooms are spacious and clean. Nothing special for dogs but it all worked. Good area for walking and doing business. We were in 2nd floor at end of hall. An easy trip down the stairs to get outside.
Appreciate that there was a very tasty Mexican restaurant steps away. Got takeout to bring back to the room so as to not leave dogs alone. We would stay here again.
Great stop with pups
Best Western Premier the Central Hotel & Conference CenterWe stayed here on long drive back to New England from Florida. Needed a spot with a restaurant on site, is dog friendly, and has a safe parking lot, as we were towing a trailer and this hotel checked all the boxes and more. Location is not far off the highway but tucked off main drag with a large well lit parking lot. Staff was super friendly. We arrived just as restaurant was closing and they were kind enough to take our order and we took the food to our room. Food was excellent. We had our two Goldens with us and we’re given a first floor room at the end of hallway - an east in and out and there is tons of green space here for dog walking and business. The rooms are good size and the dogs could easily move around. The whole hotel was quite nice and beat our expectations. We would definitely stay here in future and recommend to anyone traveling with your pets.
Great music and very dog friendly!
The Stage on BroadwayWe live this place! The music is fantastic and our dogs were so welcomed by the bands, staff, and patrons. we visited multiple times during our recent visit and can’t wait to go back. Tip- bring a bowl for dogs. There is water available but only cups which got messy. Our two Golden’s were rock stars at the Stage and we can’t wait to return!
Dog friendly
Best Western Plus Richmond Hill InnStayed one night with our 2 Goldens on way to Florida. Decent hotel but nothing special. Price was right and dog fee of $20 each was reasonable. Good grassy area for dogs. Rooms are just average. Location right off highway was convenient. Good for one night stop.
Good stop
Holiday Inn Express and Suites Hagerstown an IHG HotelStopped here with our 2 Goldens on a long road trip. Good spot with plenty of grassy areas for walking. Located right off the highway and plenty of takeout options close by. The only negative would be thin walls and doors and hallway noise made it hard for the dogs to settle. Next time will ask to be at the end of the hall. Otherwise a great choice to stop with your pups.
Just ok
La Quinta by Wyndham Knoxville Central PapermillStayed here with our two Goldens on long road trip. Positives include very friendly staff and no pet fee. Plenty of space for dog walking. Very reasonably priced. Negatives are all dog rooms are on ground floor and people and dogs coming in very late made it hard for our dogs to settle. Could hear dogs in hallway and other rooms. Rooms are very weathered and need a refresh.
Good choice
Ethan Allen HotelComfortable and affordable. Rooms are carpeted and quiet making it easier for our Goldens to settle for the night. Very comfortable bed for the humans. We were only there one night but would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone traveling with their pooches.
All good!
