Amazing
Beachview Club HotelI would highly recommend Beachview Club Hotel. I have a big dog and finding locations that will accept him is difficult. In the spring I made a last min reservation at another hotel in the same area and it was ok. I knew I needed a recharge break in between big projects at work so I decided to give this hotel a shot. From start to finish this place was so much better! Will texted me when my room was ready early. He had a glass of champagne for me while we checked in and was very informative. I love that they had the dog owners on the first floor so it was easier for Capone and I to unload the car and just get out in general. The room was a beach hotel room - if you expect very fancy this isn't your place but it was clean and modern. Capone could go anywhere except for the pool which is awesome. Will checked on us each day to make sure we didn't have any issues. The fact that our room lead straight to the bike trail / walking path and on to the beach was the best. We started each morning with a walk on the beach outside our room and explored other parts of the island throughout the day. On the way home we stopped at St. Simmons so Capone could run off leash on the beach and he was able to get his zoomies out for our 5 hour ride home. If you have a dog - especially a big one - this is a must try location.

Great views and so dog friendly!
Tortuga JacksCapone and I tried this location for breakfast on our trip. The waitress came right out and gave him a bowl of water - stating that the fur babies get first priority - I love it! As it was morning it wasn't crowded so we had our choice of seats and got a great view of the ocean. Capone seemed scared of either the flapping umbrellas (his biggest fear) or the birds trying to steal his toast but he just relaxed right under the table and was content to be included. The breakfast was good and the atmosphere was amazing. We had planned on going back the next morning for breakfast again (its one of 2 places open at 8 for breakfast) but it was raining so we couldn't sit on the patio but we will be back!

Dog friendly!
Sunrise GrilleThe location and atmosphere was great. Capone was welcomed and they understood he is a big dog so didn't try to put us at a little tiny table where he doesn't fit under it. The staff was friendly and prompt. The food however was bland and dry. I was not impressed. Maybe I will try something that isn't fish next time as I have high standards, but overall for a dog location its great!

Great for bigger dogs!
Hampton Inn & Suites Jekyll IslandThe fact that I could bring a dog over 40 lbs was amazing. The hotel was a little dated but I could bring my dog and that was all that matters. Jekyll Island was amazing.
