So we have used Bring Fido a ZILLION times and this is the first time, when we explained to the hostess that we have our dogs with us and are going to sit on the patio, that we were met with surprise and were treated as though she was doing us a huge favor allowing us to dine there. She said, “Will they bark and disturb the guests inside because we are filling up quickly.” We explained that they are well behaved and are used to being in restaurants. I showed her the restaurant’s listing on the Bring Fido app and she was surprised and said “I will have to tell them about that,” insinuating it was a mistake that their restaurant was included in the app.
After that we had the most delightful waitress and I told her about the hostess not being welcoming. She assured me that dogs were welcome but wow—the hostess made us feel like we didn’t belong there. I would not go here if I were you. The food was just meh, too.

Very clean and cozy room with large patio. No lake view but you can just walk around the corner for that! There was a walking trail nearby and a sidewalk that goes all the way around the property. The attendant put us on the first floor since we have pups. The pool and restaurant were great! We just stopped over for one night on our way from Albuquerque to Saint George, Utah. It was amazing taking the dogs at sunrise to the edge of the lake. They had so much fun chasing the ducks!

We stopped here to give our pups a break during our road trip. What a pleasant surprise! Huge, gorgeous and numerous cottonwood trees that were beautifully trimmed, beautiful lush grass, water station, benches, picnic tables, and a short walk to the river if your pups want to get wet! There was an area for large dogs and a smaller area for the littles. All the dogs were very friendly and mellow! This is the best dog park we have been to!

What a great place to bring your dogs! Delicious BBQ and a super shady patio! If you have kids they would love it here too! Super friendly service!!!

We and our two pups loved Squatter’s Pub! It’s the end of July and nearly 100 degrees but the patio is nice and shaded with misters so we were all fine! They are not allowed to have you order off the menu for the pups though but no biggie. Our dogs don’t eat much when we travel anyhow. This place is in a great location downtown and we were able to walk from our hotel!

What a great place to eat, grab a beer, and relax on the patio with the pups! The staff was very friendly and welcoming to our two dogs. Even though it was hot outside, the tall wall shields you from the sun and the huge tree provides even more shade. Our dogs enjoyed lying down on the cool stone pavers, too. We were traveling through Nevada to visit family and liked Rak’s so much that we stopped here on the way back, too! Hotel Nevada is right down the street and is super dog friendly as well! There is a nice park next to the restaurant so the dogs loved that too! This was a very welcome respite from our traveling with two dogs that don’t travel well!

Oh how I wished I had done some research before taking our two pups here. We paid $20 and walked around to find a spot and the paper map says nothing about areas that dogs can visit but there are signs everywhere that dogs are not allowed. There was no person at the entrance station to even ask. A big waste of money!

We visited River Dog Grill on our way to Lake Havasu. The instant we walked in the dog with our pups we were greeted by the local patrons in a very friendly manner! They told us to go in the main entrance and head back to an enclosed patio where you can sit with your dogs. Everyone was so welcoming that we almost felt like we were in the Cheers bar (show from the 90’s)! A garage-like door can be opened if you like for some air, but the traffic noise from the busy street worried our anxious dog. Still, our waitress was super friendly and offered to bring water but we had our own. She brought the dogs a piece of bacon, each! The food was good! Google Maps makes it hard to find. I would suggest looking up Buffalo Wild Wings because you park between there and the restaurant anyhow. River Dog is just south of Buffalo Wild Wings. They are just separated by a parking lot.

We made the mistake of staying here just one night to give us a break from driving. They accept dogs but there is no place for the dogs to relieve themselves without burning their feet. No shaded spot ANYWHERE. The room was clean but I thought it was odd that there was no headboard. Weird!
