Have been a life long pet owner and currently have a 3 year old German Shepard we adopted before 2021 Xmas.

Comfortable accommodations with plenty of grassy areas within walking distance, just remember to pick up after em. Across the street is a religious establishment that seems welcoming, also down the same side of street about a block there is a public parking area with grassy areas as well as some trash cans. The room was half carpeted and half tile, with a comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower. The balcony was big enough for my with and I to sit out on with the chairs provided as well as space left on the balcony for our pooch with his bed. Unfortunately the pool was closed due storm surge damage affecting the retaining wall close to the pool.

Conveniently located close to many restaurants as well as business suites down the road with many motels/hotels around. Which provided many walking areas down the streets with some sidewalks to walk on when stretching the legs out on a walk. Room was clean and newly remodeled with laminate and tile floor for easy cleaning. There was many poo deposits left around the lodging from irresponsible pooch owners who didn’t pick up after them.

Decent hotel that is nicely located close to areas that are good for walking dogs. The hotel does have a few grassy areas as well as a bag dispenser. Friendly staff and good rooms make it a comfortable place to stay. There is carpet in the rooms which is good for bare feet, but I would prefer plank flooring for easier clean up.

Newly remodeled room with comfy bed. The area around the hotel is great for walking dogs and the staff is very friendly as well as helpful. There is a dog friendly restaurant adjacent to the parking lot that has outdoor seating and the food tasted pretty good after I ordered online and picked it up. Floors in the room were plank flooring or tile and everything went smooth. I kinda wished we could have stayed longer at the room we were in.

Outdoor Seating when the weather allows with great views of Rich & Cheat mountains. There are four picnic tables with awnings above them when needed. The breakfast menu is very tasty and the burgers are great, I recommend the deluxe with bacon, seasonally the have ramp burgers, which is a wild onion that grows in the hardwood forest of the region. The establishment has been in the area many decades and is usually always packed for breakfast. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables and the staff will bring you a water bowl if needed. The cover photo on here is our German Shepherd Wolfie with our hatch open towards our table.

Was one of the nicest hotels in the area that allows dogs for a $25 fee and big dogs are welcome, with no issues. The hotel is tucked away behind a restaurant and a gas station and beside a modular home sales. There is plenty of grassy areas around the hotel and traffic is very minimal on one side as well as in front. There is no bag disposer for picking up Fido’s presents, so remember to take some with you when you walk your fur baby. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The entrance to the room is tiled as well as the bathroom, the rest of the room had low nap commercial carpet that was clean and didn’t seem to have any traffic marks that made our dog notice others that had been there before him.

Newly remodeled rooms with really nice bathroom which had great pressure from the shower heads. The location was perfect to be close to restaurants and the are sidewalks on both sides of the street for walking Fido. The pool was very nice to swim in and the staff was friendly to all.

We had an excellent brunch meal with our Shepherd Wolfie while staying near the restaurant at a Vrbo near by. The staff at the restaurant treated us and Wolfie perfectly keeping us all hydrated with water. We were seated close to a misting fan and the manger adjusted the shade vents as the sun moved above us.

Nostalgic dog friendly hotel that had very friendly staff that was able to answer any questions we had. It is about 2 blocks from the beach and has plenty of restaurants close by with sidewalks for walking Fido. Quite area with good views .

Very delightful stay and comfortable bed with nice grassy area to walk our German Shepard around in. I was always skeptical about staying here but it has turned out to be very convenient to visit friends and family in the area. There is a very nice country restaurant at the beginning of the parking lot that has a wide array of selections for any meal. Plus, there is a bowling alley up the road a little bit and the town of Phillipi has some stores to get supplies in.
A nice drive in that offers outside seating or car side service to eat with your fur baby. French dip and burgers were good for a first time trying it out. We ate in our car with our German shepherd hanging out in the back seat as we enjoyed our meal. Really looking forward to trying their shakes the next time we are in the area.

Nice place, but under remodeling. Pool was closed, no one was playing putt-putt. Restaurant was nice and the gambling was readily available. Nice room that was cool and had great water pressure in the shower. There was a large grassy area for dogs.
A very nice establishment with a wide array of foods and libations to choose from. plenty of space that is covered to provide shade as well as cover from the rain.

Nice Hotel with plenty of grass to walk dogs. The room had furniture as well as a fridge and microwave. The room we were in was carpeted and the water pressure was good in the shower. Bed was very comfortable and the A/C kept us cool all night as well as blocking noise from outside.

Just off commercial Blvd. this place provides healthy dishes and refreshing drinks to energize the soul, with a welcoming atmosphere for dogs. Large back area to enjoy your meal or just hangout to sip your favorite drink they offer. There is Also front sidewalk tables that is shaded for you and your fur babies.

Nice hotel that allows dogs of all sizes. It also has great walking areas for furry friends and welcomes cats as well. Is conveniently located to get to any place in the city and has a historic ice cream shop with in walking distance as well as convenience stores close by.

Nice hotel located next to a cemetery that some of our relatives were laid to rest in. The hotel had modern updates and the room looked better that what is in the pictures. The electric blind didn’t work in our room which wasn’t a big deal since it was cloudy during our stay. Our room was on the 3rd floor so we had to take the elevator to go walk our fury guy. Hotel had a great rate and did not change us a pet fee, so I left a tip in the room for the room attendants. The breakfast items were great and the staff seemed liked they worked hard. Didn’t receive the warm welcome other reviewers mentioned, but it was a great place to stay with some restaurants close by to choose from. Did notice some doggy presents in the grassy areas that their owners failed to pick up.

Room was spacious and on ground floor. Nice walking area for dogs and conveniently located near highway as well as restaurants on other side. Room was clean with a big fridge and the shower head pressure was amazing. The front desk staff was friendly and kind with our German Shepherd. The pet fee was higher than expected but worth the spacious room.

Order at the counter and they will bring it out to the tables outside. The servers were pleasant and provided water for our Shepherd. Along as the weather is comfortable, eating outside with Fido is great. On hot days the sun can be intense on the sidewalk so make sure water is provided and possible something from your vehicle for your pet to lay on since the concrete gets hot. The food is amazing and we have never had any bad dishes from this establishment.

Room was nice with plank flooring, that had issues by HVAC unit. Hotel had placed a dehumidifier in corner where flooring had moisture issues causing it to buckle.

A 4 story building With entrance through lobby, rooms had a short nap commercial carpet. Our dog enjoyed the room and slept well while there. Plenty of area outside for walking our fellow, noticed many dog owners before us did not pick up after their pets, but we did. Breakfast was excellent at this location, just watch out for the elevator, it closes quickly.

One of my favorite places to stay when traveling. There is a Target next door and plenty of restaurants in the area to get food from. They accept large dogs and the floors are a vinyl plank for easy cleaning. The heating and a/c unit works well and there is plenty of channels on television to watch something. The grassy area is sloped, but is level at the top by road.

the ice cold water was waiting for our Shepard Wolfe, when we sat down a table by a wooden planter box which provided shaded for our Wolf Blitzer as he watched other dogs at tables as well as those passing by. The food was excellent of of the brunch menu and the libation selection was great.

Plank flooring rooms ideal for dogs and property has a wooded area for walking dogs, just watch out for previous piles that some dog owners didn’t pick up. The beds are comfy and our room was equipped with a small fridge with a small freezer above it. The staff/owners were friendly and provided coffee in the mornings. The location is suburb with an excellent South American restaurant just down the street as well as a Walgreens next door.

A lovely shaded area to enjoy light food plates and libations while dogs sip water In the shade. Service is good at the counter and they notify you when your food order is ready by text.

A good BBQ restaurant with tasty food and libations. The establishment features views of the Ohio river as well as BBQ and Burgers. There is a great outdoor seating area that allows dogs and owners to watch a variety water crafts including Barges go up and down the Ohio. The staff is friendly and will even bring some water for pets.

A BBQ style restaurant that is located near a stream and just down the road from camping accommodations. The restaurant has a large outdoor seating area that allows dogs on the deck, which has steps on 2 sides for entrance and exits. The food taste great and they have a large selections of adult beverages. The staff will even bring a water bowl to the table side for fiddo.

Great location just off from the main round about in town . Great tasting food with 4 tables for outdoor seating on nice days. Staff was friendly with us and even provided a dog dish of water for our German Shepard, Wolf Blitzer.
