Great for our dog!
Residence Inn by Marriott Jackson the District at EastoverThe property was great - clean rooms, lobby, etc. - looks new. One of the best Residence Inns we have found in a long time! Perfect for traveling with our dog. The staff was great, accommodating, and check-in was easy. Great room for our large dog and tons of areas with dog bags & grass to walk the dog. Very cute area to stroll around and walk the dog with a few new restaurants and shops and even an Orange Theory workout gym. Would definitely choose here again to stay if traveling through this area. A little pricy but worth it for the quality, safety and stress-free stay (and wonderful staff).
Acceptable but not incredible
Residence Inn Sandestin at Grand BoulevardDogs well accommodated and lives the spacious rooms for us. Rooms were smelly and needed updating, but otherwise clean. Nice staff. Very small area for dogs/potty but we were able to walk beyond the property and find sufficient grass areas. Beautiful area of Sandestin where hotel is located.
Do not recommend
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jackson AirportBrought my Labradoodle. Pet fee is low and reasonable but the "pet area" is just the grass around the back of pool (open field feels like its off property) and muddy. Not very convenient. Facilities were under renovation of front entrance so side door was entrance. Rooms are outdated. We were put in a room right next to the side exit door that was open/unlocked all night and people coming in/out throughout the night. You could hear everyone coming/going and walking down the hallway which was not ideal for our dog. And the hotel is right off the Interstate and we could hear all of the highway traffic. Snack/Food "store" was just very minimal. Not much sleep for any of us and we left as early as we could. Opted to find somewhere else off the highway on our road trip for breakfast. Just wanted to get out of the area! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone... with or without a pet.
