Great place!
Boss Hogg's BBQ ShackStopped here with our pup in October for lunch. Their deck is totally covered so it’s a great place to be protected from the weather. The food was pretty good, however I didn’t taste the smoke in either of the pulled pork or the brisket. We ordered some chicken tenders for Kizzie and they were huge! We’ll definitely go back and try something different. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful by the way!
Wonderful!
Trackside Restaurant at Paris Train DepotIt was a cold overcast evening when we arrived. They greeted Kizzie and sat us on the inside patio which was warm and inviting with their inside fire pits. Kizzie was brought a bowl of water and a complementary grilled chicken breast. My husband had the chicken dinner, which he enjoyed, and I had the Trackside Hot Brown. We enjoyed eating here and will go again next time we’re in the area.
Great little place!
Dog Haus BiergartenLooking for a place with outdoor dining and saw this! Good outdoor cover, plenty of seating and the food is delicious! I had the bratwurst sandwich with sauerkraut which was really good, and being on Hawaiian roll added a bit of sweetness which was so tasty! Hubby had The Ringer hamburger which he enjoyed as well, it came on Hawaiian rolls too. a side order of tots is huge and crunchy. We’d definitely go back!
Great place!!
CampestreIt was misting, windy and all round miserable tonight, so I contacted Campestre on FB and asked if we could be served on their patio and they said since it was so miserable outside, we could bring our girl in as long as she was well behaved. Everyone there was so kind and showed our pup special attention! Loved the food, music and atmosphere! We will definitely go back when in the area!
Loved it!
Cheddar's Scratch KitchenDinner at Cheddars tonight. Their patio is beautiful and has tables a plenty for outdoor dining with your pup! Wait staff very attentive and took turns coming out to love on our pup! Tables are covered with individual umbrellas as opposed to being completely covered.
Wonderful!
Toucan's LakefrontLunch today on the lake at Toucan’s. Great seating for pups on their wrap around deck. They have a covered area but the view isn’t as nice. Food was average, but the wait staff was very friendly and gave our girl lots of attention!
Very dog friendly!
Chili's Grill & BarThis is a great place to go when you can’t decide what you want. There is something for almost any taste. Their patio is spacious. with plenty of seating. it’s also fully covered offering protection from sun and rain.
Fabulous place!
Mama Henry's at the Backyard Cafe'Just us on the pet friendly back porch at Mama Henry’s Back Porch today. Those of you with pups should give this place a try, it’s a perfect setting being completely enclosed and protected from wind and rain. The owner, Emmie, came out and said she’s an animal lover, and she feeds stray kittys and pups that come around. Dogs on a leash are completely welcome at her restaurant and she has 2 acres of property right there if you want to walk them around. This is also a fabulous venue to hold group gatherings! Oh, and the foods good too. Their fries are seasoned and crispy which I love. I got the pimento burger, and Danny got the Mama Henry burger which came with a fabulous dill sauce. Our waitress said you can get it with anything, just ask. We had the whole place to ourselves, Emmie said not too many know they’re pet friendly so take your pooches and go visit Mama Henry’s!
Great place!
Margaritaville - Pigeon ForgeAte here for the first time and glad we did! We brought Kizzie our sheepadoodle with us and they were kind enough to let us eat inside since it was 55 degrees outside. The decor is apropos to the Margaritaville theme and they play the sound of an airplane landing every now and then (at least I guess that’s what it was) The food was good, great wait staff who showed Kizzie lots of love and attention. The outside deck is large with lots of seating under umbrellas . My hubby had the Cheeseburger In Paradise with fries. ($16.50)He reports that it was a pretty good burger. I had the Caribbean Chicken Eggrolls ($16.99) and a frozen strawberry margarita ($11) which was delicious.
We’ll definitely go back!
Well it’s different anyway
Fox & Parrot TavernDinner at the Fox and Parrot in Gatlinburg, Arts and Crafts area. We weren’t too sure about eating here when we pulled up, but decided to try it anyway. Careful, you have to go up 2 flights of rickety wooden stairs! I had the Poachers Roll and Danny had fish and chips. Food was average, but the lady that served us was very, very nice and friendly. They allow dogs inside which was very much appreciated!
Like this place!
Wild Bear TavernFound Wild Bear on this site and decided to try it. They have a very large 2 level deck with plenty of seating. The upper area is covered. It was chilly out there, so our waitress got permission for us to eat inside! That was greatly appreciated! She brought out a bowl of sausage for our pup on the house! Hubby ordered the purple cabbage, German potato salad, and the pot roast. I ordered the jaegar schnitzel with purple cabbage and German potato salad. His roast beef was good but neither of us liked the cabbage or potato salad. My schnitzel was dry without the gravy. But we’ll go back and try something different.
Fabulous!
Hard Rock Cafe Pigeon ForgeAte out on the patio with our Kizzie. I didn’t know it, but they have a pup menu that is free! Kizzie got a bowl of water, a good sized hamburger patty, and a large pup cup all on the house!
I got the hamburger sliders ($15.99) that had an onion ring, cheese and coleslaw on them. I’m telling you those burgers were delicious! My hubby got their Legendary Burger ($17.99) that had cheese, an onion ring and bacon with a different kind of sauce and their seasoned fries. Great place to take your pup and get a good meal!
Very pet friendly!
Calhoun'sWe always stop here while in Pigeon Forge. The wait staff and manager are always so attentive! Even when it’s cold outside! Oh, and the food is fabulous!
Pretty good
New Moon CafeA bit hard for us to find, but after calling, we found it in the JB White building. It has 2 nice outside covered areas, one in front of the restaurant where you can watch passersby, and the other area is through the restaurant and out into an enclosed patio that’s inside the JB White building. This area is completely protected from the weather. The staff was ultra friendly, said we could take our pup in with us to order which we did. A pup cup of whipped cream, with a dog biscuit on top was immediately brought out to our pup’s delight! Once we ordered, we went out to the enclosed patio since it was so cold outside. We both ordered the G Love sandwich with baked potato salad, 1 water, and 1 soda. The bill came to about $28 including tip. The roast beef sandwiches were on the small side, and the salad was in a container about the size of a condiment cup. The restaurant was very clean, plenty of seating both inside and out, and the staff was beyond friendly. Just a little disappointed with the portion sizes.
Pretty Good
D's WingsDecided to try D’s Wings at their new location for lunch today. We took Kizzie with us and sat outside at one of their four tables. There was plenty of parking at the time, however, we have tried to come here before and have had to leave because there was no place to park. But this was at 1:30 so there were plenty of spaces. I ordered the nine piece, lemon pepper, bone in wings. Hubby ordered the nine piece teriyaki bone in wings, and we shared a bowl of floppy raw fries. The new location is a wonderful improvement from their last one. Inside was decorated with lots of pretty Christmas lights, we had great service from the wait staff, and lots of attention to our pup. However, I will have to say to be careful when you say you want your raw fries floppy because they will definitely come out so floppy that they don’t seem cooked! Our waitress was happy to send them back and bring out another order, which was a slight improvement but I would advise you just order it the way it is on the menu lol! I love lemon pepper wings and these are so good that they chapped my lips! The teriyaki wings were very good. We will definitely go back. — eating lunch at D's Wings.
Heaven!
Replacements, Ltd.I’ve just seen this place online, but when I found out it’s dog friendly and we’d be driving close to it on the way home from vacation we just had to stop! This place is huge, and I mean huge! They say it is eight football fields and that is just this one building! They have everything from silver to diamonds, porcelain to portraits!
And yes of course they are very dog friendly! My husband took care of Kizzie while I shopped and he spent the entire time talking with people wanting to know about our pup!
Thinking about taking a group back sometime next year this would be a great stop!
Good atmosphere!
M'Coul's Public HouseHad lunch with our pup her in early November. I had a bowl of Lamb Stew, and hubby had the French dip with fries. The stew was good as well as the sandwich, but the fries were crispy and seasoned, were delicious! Plenty of outdoor tables with umbrellas.
Great little place!
Ciro's Lasagna HouseWe were driving around looking for a place to get pizza that had an outdoor eating area. Found this place and decided to stop. We sat on their large, fully covered porch with plenty of tables and a few booths. Ordered their deluxe pizza and it was delicious! Highly recommend!
Beautiful area!
AmRhein Wine CellarsDriving through the mountains, you would never expect to find this vineyard tucked away off the road. It opens at noon and we were there just as they opened the doors. The tasting is $7 for 6 samples, they also have a charcuterie board if you’re hungry. We purchased our bottle ($17.95) and sat out at one of their wrought iron tables and had our lunch. Very peaceful and serene.
Nice stop!
Mill Mountain Star TrailDrove up to the Star, walked a very short loop trail, then went down to the zoo area, Just walked a short trail there, but our pup sure had a good time with all the smells and people wanting to pet her!
Meh!
Best Western Plus Inn at Valley ViewSmall hotel, but in a good location. We also had a room down by the double doors to go outside, which was broken. The door was propped open with a stone to keep it from closing. They need to fix that!! Very unsafe at night. Our room was clean with no doggie odor, but I could see someone had closed up their dog in the bathroom because there were scratches on the doors door a gouge on the wall. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall by the AC unit, and wrinkling on one of the walls. Breakfast was typical scrambled eggs and sausage Pattie’s, and make your own waffles. Nothing outstanding, just your typical inexpensive hotel.
Great BBQ
Mission BBQVery good place to stop. They have outside picnic tables with umbrellas. ( note to those who aren’t quite limber, you have to step over the bench to sit at the table)
They smoke the meat in a huge converted army truck and it smells so good out there!
I had the sliced brisket sandwich, collard greens, and cheesy potatoes. The sandwich was piled high with brisket, the potatoes were good, but those collards! They are absolutely delicious! I’m going to try to replicate their recipe they’re so good! The cornbread wasn’t dry and had a bit of sugar in it, the pulled pork was good and smoky as well. Each table has 6 different bbq sauce selections. I highly recommend Mission BBQ!
Very good
The Green GoatWe had dinner here late October, so it was a bit chilly outside. The special was Ziti with meatballs, so we had that with a side salad. There were fire rings out by the tables which they had one burning. Wish they had all of them burning! The location is beautiful, right by the green belt, lots of folks out walking their dogs. Food was good, atmosphere great! Try them!
Great place!
The Quiet Pint Tavernlunch at Quiet Pint Tavern. Good menu…bowls for dogs…ordered broiled chicken nuggets $4 for Kizzie. I had pimento bacon cheeseburger w/fires, Danny got the smash burger w/fries. Very nice fully enclosed patio with windows protected from weather.
Very pet friendly!
Chili's Grill & BarChilies has something for everyone’s taste! And it also has a wonderfully fully covered porch to take your pup no matter what the weather is. We went for ribs this day and enjoyed them thoroughly. Highly recommend!
Wonderfully relaxing!
Linville Falls WineryWe visited this winery a few days ago in October while driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. It has vast open spaces, tables and chairs down by a beautiful pond, an outdoor patio, a covered patio, and then an interior patio with a fireplace. It also has an enclosed room if it is cold or raining outside. Good selection of wines, they allow you to taste before you buy, and they have a cooler full of homemade pimento cheeses and various other cheeses, as well as baskets of crackers to purchase to go with your wines. Their flights are four for $12 and five for $15 as of when we were here in October 2022. There are plenty places to sit and take your pup with you. Enjoyed it thoroughly and will be back. Highly recommend !
Great place to take your pup!
Bayou Smokehouse & GrillDecided to stop here for lunch on a beautiful day in October. We had the whole porch to ourselves when we got there so we were able to decide which table to sit at that would be out of the sun. Our pup had plenty of room to walk around, there was music playing outside from the next-door area, and the food was good. We both got the smokehouse burger basket and enjoyed it. Highly recommend.
Good Q for you!
Hudson's Smokehouse BBQHudson’s is family owned and have been here decades! They have a good buffet and you can also order from the menu. Their portions are normally large so you may have to get a to go box. They are very pet friendly and have a large fully covered porch for you and your pup to enjoy protected from the weather. (plenty of tables too)
Just ok
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sevierville / KodakEverything on the outside looks real nice, Lobby real nice, hallways nice. On the surface our room looked nice, but there was hair in the sink drain, and the sink would not drain. There were dirty air conditioning filters laying on the windowsill, and our air conditioner made a sound like a siren every time it timed off. We told the person behind the reception area about the sink not draining and someone was there within 10 minutes and got it fixed. We would go back if we could not find another place to go.
Nice place
Fort Worth Texas KitchenUsed to be Logan's. Nice outdoor seating, plenty of tables and completely covered.
I got 12 oz ribeye with loaded baked potato...$26.95. Danny got chopped steak with onions, mushrooms and gravy, and a house salad for $15.95. All very good. Brought Kizzie water as usual, wait staff very attentive. Good place to take your pup!
Perfection!
Wheelie's RefresherI'll tell you, the view from their deck is phenomenal! But get there early if you want to sit outside at a table. They only have 6 picnic tables, but there are high bar stools along the railing.
There is no shading from the sun so keep that in mind. We both got the Flattop Bacon Cheeseburger with waffle fries for $12.50 each. Very good, and enough bacon on the burgers to really taste! Very dog friendly, brought water, but no offering of anything for our pup to try.
Outside BBQ
The Pedalin' PigFound this restaurant while exploring Boone. They have plenty of outdoor seating at picnic benches. The evening we were here some guys brought their guitars and banjos and played while everyone was eating. It was just an off-the-cuff Music Jam. Husband and I split the Smokehouse special.(pulled pork, slice of brisket, 4 ribs and 2 sides) $27. It was pretty good
We would eat there again.
Great location
Six Pence PubGreat little place to take your pup. They have a large outdoor patio with tables and umbrellas. Husband had shepherd's pie, I had bangers and mash. Wasn't real keen on the sausages, they had a peculiar taste to me. But the shepherd's pie was excellent! Then walked a few doors down and got some blueberry waffle ice cream in a cup, really good you should try it!
No problem in the rain!
The Town TavernIt was raining when we got to the Towne Tavern. We sat outside at the tables under large umbrellas, and the rain did not phase the wait staff at all. They were very attentive and quick with food and drink. Had fish and chips and boneless teriyaki wings with fries. The food was decent but nothing to write home about. But we enjoyed it there anyway. Yes we would go back!
Like this place!
Foggy Rock Eatery & PubWe stopped here for dinner one night. Sat out in their outside eating area where there are plenty of tables and umbrellas. Wait staff was very attentive, and like most restaurants they brought our pup a bowl of water. We both the Foggy Rock Philly and floppy pub chips. The size of the Phillies were not as large as most, but they were very tasty and we would order them again.
Think about it
Woodlands Barbeque RestaurantWe went here to have lunch with our pup, but the outside seating is 2 picnic benches placed up against a parking slot. It we had eaten there, we would have been so close to a parked car that we wouldn't be able to step into the bench area to sit. So think twice before you take your pup here!
If you like Salsarita's you will like this
UberritoLunch today is at Uberritos next door to the Guitar Center off Bower Parkway. (used to be Salsaritas and is just like it) They've been open 9 months and we just found out about it because we got some coupons in the mail. Used the buy 1 get 1 free chicken burrito or chicken bowl. Also got 3 free Mexican donuts that came with a white and a caramel dipping sauces. Guys that was so much food! It was pretty good, parking aplenty, ambience good too. The service was fast and friendly! Oh and it's dog friendly too!
VERY dog friendly!
Zack's Sandwich ShackHeard someone talking about Zacks Sandwich Shack earlier today so we decided to try it.
Here is my very humble review:
5 stars for parking. Plenty of spaces all around.
5 stars for ambience. When the name of the place includes the word "Shack" you pretty much know it's not going to be a upscaled 5 star restaurant. So for a "Shack", it was very nice. And they get extra points for being dog lovers like we are.
5 stars for service. When we got there, we sat down at the outside table, and I went inside to get a menu. Almost before I could sit back down a nice lady was out there with a bowl of cold water and two large slices of turkey for roll ups for our pup! That was so nice of them:-). Then she came right back out and said it's too hot outside bring your dog inside and sit! That was the first time we have been allowed to sit in a restaurant with our pup!
4 stars food. The menu has a lot of sandwiches and sides and they have a blue plate special everyday. And then one day a week they have meatloaf and macaroni, and on Friday they have something which I can't remember now sorry! The potato salad was very good because it did not have pickles in it, but my husband likes pickles and said it was just okay for him. The sandwiches were pretty good and they came with a sauce to dip it in. My husband got the Zack Attack and I got the turkey Lucy Goosey.
We will definitely make Zacks a regular stop!
Great place
Five GuysWe tale pur pup to the one on Sunset all the time
Shady with umbrellas over the tables, good burgers too.
Love it!
Hofbrauhaus RestaurantBeautiful Sunday afternoon on the patio with our pup! The setting on the river is just wonderful, and they're very pet friendly. Brought our Kizzie a bowl of water and a complimentary plate of 2 hot dogs sliced up bitesize just for her! Food was good, pricey of course, but you are in Helen after all! We'll be back!
One of our favorites!
Old Mill BrewpubWe visited here for lunch on St. Patrick's Day. My pup and I sat out on the back deck and thoroughly enjoyed it. Water was brought out for both of us and everyone showed Kizzie lots of love and attention the whole time we were there. Oh and you can get 2 chicken strips for $2 if you're wanting to get your dog a treat
This place is a must try!
Go here!
Libby'sThis is a wonderful place to go out to eat and take your pup. The manager seated us on their outdoor eating area that is fully covered and has ceiling fans. She also brought out a bowl of water and a bowl of chunks of chicken breast! What a treat! Both she and the wait staff showed our Kizzie lots of love and attention. We'll make Libby's one of our regular stops! Oh, and the food is good too!😀
Pretty good
Midwood SmokehouseTook our dog with us today for lunch. It has a very nice covered outside patio with plenty of tables. The pulled pork was very good with a distinct Smokey taste, and the Cackalacky burger was very good as well. The wait staff was all right, our waitress brought Kizzie a bowl of water. Their attention to us and the dog was not as much as Libby's restaurant, or the Old Mill Brewery. Which I highly recommend both of them. But this was our first time here and we did enjoy it.
