Nice but all pebbles and concrete
Falmouth Dog ParkVisiting friends we wanted to give our Charlie a chance to stretch his long legs from 5 hrs of traveling. What a nice looking place, beautifully designed, a mix of sun and shade areas with a few benches throughout. Unfortunately Charlie did not like the pebbles, so he didn’t play or run as usual, which was disappointing for all of us.
6 Mile Loop
Stump Pond Loop TrailWhat a nice place. Many trails intertwine the Stump Loop trail so be observant of the signs. There are some minor uphills but overall little elevation. Our Charlie handled the terrain well and enjoyed cooling his paws in the streams. It took us 3 hours to complete the loop which started and ended by the dog park.
Beach Fun
Mud Creek Dog ParkMy lab pup thoroughly enjoyed his first swim. We definitely will be coming back.
Nice Hike
Black Mountain Via Silver Mine Lake LoopNice moderate hike. Our large lab handled the terrain easily. Lots of rocks so wear good hiking boots. A sharp left turn by the AT lean-to can be easily missed since yellow markers continue straight as well.
Charlie on the Hudson
Dog Park at Kingsland Point ParkNice dog run at the park, poop bags and water. Riverside walk is beautiful, but leashes required.
My dog’s happy place
Selden Dog ParkThis is a nice dog park. Though improvements can be made, it’s a good place to bring your dog. Lots of trees so shady in summer. Water is available seasonally and poop bags abundant. I’ve been going almost every day w our energetic pup for 7 months now and have met many decent people and lots of happy dogs.
