Gorgeous area—can’t believe I haven’t been before! If you have a NPS pass you’ll want to have that up on your dash when you park, otherwise you can get a day pass for $5.

Great birding, and a few spots for river access, too. Ran into a couple of off leash dogs but the vast majority were leashed, so that was very nice for my Zu :)

The pictures don’t do this park justice!! only complaint is I wish there were spots to fill up water bowls without going all the way to the exit because my dog kept trying to drink the stream before I could get to her to stop her haha. She did play so hard she tore her pads due to the combo of uneven/rocky terrain there and then the asphalt parking lot, so watch out for that if you spend even 2-3 hours there like we did. She slept the whole way home though and is thoroughly tired, and clearly had a lot of fun :)
