Fun for Everyone!

Our dogs loved the opportunity to get in the water! There are designated spots for humans and canines to swim together but we left it to the dogs. We had no service in this area so I have no idea how long the trail around the pond is but I would guess around 2 miles. There is a spot about 1/4 mile in either side from start of trail for swimming so you could always turn around if the full trail is too much. Part of the trail is a carriage road and we did see one horse drawn carriage in action. Hiking poles and good shoes recommended for Seniors since there are tree roots and occasional wet rocks. Donation is recommended. The trails are very well-maintained.

Dog heaven

Our dogs loved the water and exploring all the smells of the ocean while the tide was out. Very enjoyable evening stroll after dinner. There are options for more strenuous paths. The easier paths are about 5 feet wide and flat.
