Whihala Beach

Whihala Beach is a pet-friendly recreation area in Whiting, IN. As long as Fido is leashed, he can accompany you on both the trails and the sand during the off-season, which spans from after Labor Day until Memorial Day weekend. However, it's important to note that swimming in Lake Michigan isn't permitted when rip current warnings are issued or during times of turbulent waves, as these conditions can generate perilous currents.
