Rushton's Beach
Rushton's Beach Provincial Park in River John, NS, is a dog-friendly destination where leashed pups can enjoy warm salt waters and wide sandbars at low tide. A short boardwalk leads to open space for play—just keep an eye out for poison ivy near the picnic area. The beach and surrounding salt marsh are also great for birdwatching.
