Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome to explore the dog-friendly grounds of Camp Nelson National Monument in Nicholasville, KY. This 525-acre historic site honors its legacy as a Civil War supply depot, recruitment center for United States Colored Troops, and refuge for freedom seekers. Pets are not allowed inside buildings.
