Colliery Dam Park

Colliery Dam Park in Nanaimo, BC, is a pet-friendly recreation area featuring wooded trails and a designated off-leash area around the upper dam. Dogs can explore the trails and cool off in the small pond, while visitors can also hike, jog, swim, boat, and fish. From the main parking lot, you will need to walk to the upper dam trail for the off-leash area. There is a small parking lot located off Harewood Mines Rd to access the upper dam trail more easily.
