The Terry Gordon Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Cumberland Bay State Park is a pet-friendly recreation area in Plattsburgh, NY. You and your leashed dog can enjoy the scenic views, camping opportunities and picnic areas at this park on the west shore of Lake Champlain. There's a maximum of two pets allowed in campsites and day-use areas. Pets are to be supervised and on a leash under six feet in length and are not permitted in playgrounds, buildings, golf courses, boardwalks, pools, spray grounds or guarded beaches.
