Dog-Friendly Activities Near UKI Airport

Dogs are allowed to play off-leash at Low Gap Dog Park in Ukiah, CA. Located near the disc golf course, this fully fenced park features separate areas for large dogs and small/shy dogs with double-gated entries. Bring Fido for an afternoon of exercise where he can enjoy playing with other canines and relaxing in the shade. Benches, water and trash cans are on site. Located northeast of Ukiah, CA, dog-friendly Lake Mendocino is a man-made lake created with a dam across the Russian River flowing out of the Potter Valley. The area features 300 campsites with boat-in camping, covered picnic shelters, and 15 miles of hiking and biking trails. Some of the trails are in the 700-acre wilderness area, so be mindful of the wildlife and keep Fido on a leash at all times.
