Mexico Towans Beach is pet-friendly. Part of three miles of lovely sand, this popular beach is a great hangout spot for dogs and their owners. Dogs are allowed all year round on the central stretch of the beach, but restrictions are in place at the southern end near the estuary and towards Gwithian to the north. Dog owners are reminded to clean up any mess that is left behind.

Porthleven Beach

Porthleven Beach

Porthleven Beach is pet-friendly. The beach is three miles in length and is covered in miles of lovely sand. When the tide is out, you can walk along to Loe Bar and the Penrose Estate from the granite pier of the harbor. Getting in the water is not advisable. Dogs are welcome on the beach from October 1 through April 28. This ban operates from the Harbour Wall eastwards to the flight of steps known as the Blue Buoy steps. On the rest of the beach there are no restrictions.

Polpeor Cove

Polpeor Cove is pet-friendly. This tiny beach is situated just to the right of Lizard Point. Leashed dogs are welcome on the beach, as long as all mess is cleaned up after them.

Lankidden Cove

Lankidden Cove is pet-friendly. Hike here from Kennack Sands with your pooch and enjoy a quiet cove together. The cliffs surrounding the cove were once the site of an Iron Age cliff fort. Dog owners are reminded to clean up any mess that their pets leave behind.

Rinsey Head

Rinsey Head is pet-friendly. This rocky beach located near Helston is a nice place to take Fido for a coastal walk. Dog owners are reminded to clean up any mess that is left behind.

Upton Towans Beach

Upton Towans Beach is pet-friendly. Three miles of golden sand are ripe for exploring with your pooch at this Cornish Beach. At low tide, the beach joins with others in the surrounding area. Wander for miles with your pup by your side, enjoying the kite buggies whizzing by. Dogs are welcome, as long as all mess is cleaned up.

Perranuthnoe

Perranuthnoe is pet-friendly. This large beach is a great place to bring Fido and play fetch. Play in the surf, jump in the sand, and always make sure to clean up any mess that your pup leaves behind. Dogs are welcome on the beach without a leash between September 30 through April 30. You can also bring your pup on the beach from 7pm to 8am during the peak season, too.

Coverack Beach

Coverack Beach is pet-friendly year-round. Leashed dogs are welcome to play on this pebble and sand beach located on the eastern coast of the Lizard peninsula. Fishing is a popular activity at Coverack Beach. Dog owners are reminded to clean up any mess that is left behind.

Praa Sands

Praa Sands is pet-friendly. Praa Sands is covered in white sand to explore with your pooch. Located in the south west-facing bend between the Lizard and west Penwith, the mile-long sandy beach is backed with sheltering sand dunes. Dogs are welcome on the beach from October 1 through Easter Sunday.

Portscatho Beach is pet-friendly. This beach is mainly rocky, with sandy patches. Beyond the village the beach stretches all the way up the bay to the sandy Porthcurnick Beach at low tide. There are lots of lovely coastal walks nearby, too. Dogs are welcome on this beach from October 1 through Easter Sunday.

Maenporth

Maenporth is pet-friendly. This beautiful sandy cove, approximately 2 miles from Falmouth town center, is the ideal spot to take your pooch for a walk during the off-season. It offers great views across Falmouth Bay towards Pendennis Castle and some great coastal walks. Dogs are welcome on the beach from September 30 through Easter Sunday.

Trefusis Beach

Trefusis Beach is pet-friendly. This small rocky beach is best visited at low tide, because it disappears completely at high tide. Bring your pooch to Falmouth town and dockyard and you'll see the beach in the distance. Access is from a passenger ferry to Flushing. Dogs are welcome, as long as all mess is cleaned up after them.

Porthgwidden St Ives is pet-friendly. The smallest beach of soft golden sand in St Ives is a great place to take the dog for a nice walk. Dogs are welcome on this beach except from the first Sunday before Easter and 30 September when a seasonal dog ban is in place.
