Performance Pups Freshwater Dog Beach in Dania Beach, FL, is home to the cleanest freshwater dog lake in Broward County! This pet-friendly, fenced-in area allows dogs to swim and play off-leash. Swimming by humans is not allowed at the park. You can walk and wade in the water but the city ordinance forbids swimming for the two-legged. Admission is cash only.

Head out to the Dog Beach of Hollywood in Florida, where all members of your family, canines included, can enjoy fun at the beach. Daily passes and six-month passes are available from a park ranger during dog beach hours or The Department of Recreation and Cultural Arts, 1405 S. 28th Avenue. The Dog Beach of Hollywood is monitored by a park ranger, however, good dog park etiquette is highly encouraged regardless. Aggressive dogs are not tolerated, and owners are expected to clean up their dog’s waste. Furthermore, dogs are not allowed on the beach outside the designated hours or location.

Haulover Park in Miami Beach, FL, features a bark park as well as a designated dog-friendly beach area. The bark park, located near the south picnic area, features a fenced section for dogs under 35 lbs and one for larger dogs. Additional amenities include shade trees, picnic tables, drinking fountains and doggie waste stations. The dog-friendly beach area invites pups to play off leash between lifeguard tower #2 and #3 only, accessible through parking lots #3 and #4. Dogs must be leashed outside of the designated beach area.

Hobie Island Beach Park is a dog-friendly beach in Miami-Dade County, FL. This off-leash beach is a man-made pooch paradise. Your pup can roam around the sand and dive into the water, but be careful of the windsurfers slaloming around the water. Please note that proof of vaccination must be provided to purchase an annual or weekend permit through the city for each visiting pup. Canine Beach is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
