Raccoon Lake State Recreation Area Dogs are welcome at Raccoon Lake State Recreation Area in Rockville, IN where forest and rocky outcrops line the banks of Big Raccoon Creek. The lake is hugely popular among recreational boat users and anglers, but Fido can also join you on dry land to explore the interesting surroundings of the lake on the pet-friendly trails that vary in difficulty and length from 0.8 miles to 2.1 miles.
