Dog-Friendly Activities in Villisca, IA

Dogs are allowed at pet-friendly Viking Lake State Park in Stanton, IA. Leashed pups can enjoy six miles of trails around the park that provide dogs and their owners a view into the varied natural features. Please note that dogs must be cleaned up after and are not permitted in the lake.

Lake of Three Fires State Park is a dog-friendly recreation area in Bedford, IA. Named after three Native American tribes who created an alliance known as the Three Fires, the park is now home to eight miles of marked trails for hikers to enjoy with their pups. There's also a large picnic area with tables and grills for anybody who gets peckish along the way. Leashed dogs are welcome to join their owners around the park, as long as they are cleaned up after during their visit.
