Off-Leash Dog Parks Near QWG Airport

Just a short distance from downtown Charlotte, NC, is Barkingham Park in Reedy Creek Park. At this dog park, Fido is welcome to play and socialize with his pet companions off-leash. This recreation area is divided into separate spaces for small and large dogs. Ensure Fido remains leashed in the community park until within the designated off-leash play area.

Fido is invited to play at the dog park at Mint Hill Founders Park in Charlotte, NC. This 1.3-acre off-leash area includes two designated sections for small and large breeds, along with shaded seating areas and waste stations. You can also explore the trails outside the park, but please remember that Fido must remain on a leash in those areas. The dog park is lit for use after sunset.
