Park des Jardins-Lavigne Off Leash Dog Park Just over the Ottawa river from Ottawa, the off-leash dog park is located in the undeveloped area of Jardins-Lavigne park (Bois-Franc Avenue, Aylmer) in Gatineau. Volunteers from the Aylmer Canine Club have installed benches and ensures its cleanliness. It's a circle path that takes approximately 15 min to walk at a regular pace. It's surrounded by hectares of natural wooded area with walking paths. In the the interior of the circle path is a lower wide flat grassy area for dog running and games, with a creek running through on one side. The parking lot for the off-leash park is also a parking lot for a young-children's playground with a sprinkler system area and sand area with climbing forts. See Details

One of 50 dog parks in the area, this fenced-in space provides a great place for your dog to run and play without the constraints of a leash. They even host free behavioral classes for dogs at this dog park throughout the year. Although dogs are allowed on a leash outside of the dog park, they should avoid playing in the playground or drinking from the water fountain for humans. Parc de la Kruger Kruger Dog Park is a dog-friendly, fenced-in space for Fido to run off-leash and socialize. The Park has a large dog area and a small dog area. There is no water in the park, so dog owners should bring some along for their pet. Dog owners are allowed no more than two pets at a time, they must clean up after their pet, and they must keep Fido leashed until inside the enclosure.

Pets must have a tag issued by the SPA de l'Estrie if they are a resident of the City of Sherbrooke, if they reside outside of Sherbrooke, they must have a valid license issued by their municipality. If their municipality does not require a license, the dog must have a tag with their owner's address, number and identity listed. The park is accessible via Rue Ponton.
