Off-Leash Dog Parks in Washington

Known locally as "Doggy Disneyland," Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA, is best known for its 40 acres of off-leash dog park area. There are trails, open fields, wooded areas, and water to play in. Total heaven if you're a dog! Keep in mind the park is not fully fenced.

An off-leash area at the north end of the Luther Burbank Park in Mercer Island, WA provides plenty of room for your pup to romp with other dogs. The space features paved walkways, grassy areas, a sandy shore, and water for Fido to cool off and play. Be mindful that the area isn't fully fenced and they have three separate spots for your furry friends.

Fido is welcome to play with his furry friends at Marguerite Brons Park in Clinton, WA. This 13-acre recreation space features three separate areas, a small dog site, a large open meadow and an even more extensive wooded area with trails. The park is completely fenced allowing humans to relax and socialize while their dogs run and play safely. Amenities of this park include picnic shelters, a water station, waste bags, trash receptacles and more.

Coby’s Dog Cafe in Seattle, WA, is a dog lounge and coffee bar where pet parents and pups can hang out together. This walk-in space features a supervised indoor off-leash area for dogs and their owners. Ordering is convenient via QR code and a slide-out window, with coffee, tea, artisan sandwiches, and pastries for humans, plus a dog menu with Pawcha Latte and Woofles. Registration and fees are required for four-legged guests. Day passes and monthly memberships are available.

Westcrest Park Off-Leash Area is an 8.4 acres, dog-friendly park in Seattle, WA. The park features a doggie drinking fountain, shade, trees and lots of open space. There is also a separated area for small and shy dogs located on the southwest side of the main off-leash area. For people, the off-leash area provides benches, chairs, and a shady place to relax. Restrooms, play areas and picnic areas are nearby.

The dog park at Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood, WA, is a great spot to bring Fido to play off-leash. This fenced-in recreation space spans 22 acres near the community park's historic barns and Waughop Lake Trial. Amenities of the space include water fountains, benches, trees, logs and a separate small dog area. Ensure Fido is leashed when transitioning out of the gated space and back into the public park.

Dogwood Play Park is an indoor/outdoor off-leash dog park & bar in Seattle, WA. Fido can run, play and socialize in a safe environment while you unwind with a relaxing drink. A fee is required for entry. Visitors can choose to pay for a "drop in" single visit, or purchase a monthly or annual membership. Fido can romp around both the indoor and outdoor areas which are equipped with play structures such as tunnels and giant oversized tires. Human visitors can step up to the bar and choose from a selection of beer, cider, wine, non-alcoholic drink options and snacks.

Rotary Bark Park in Gig Harbor, WA, is a 15-acre off-leash dog park in the woods with trails and a play meadow. Humans may utilize the picnic tables, a shade shelter and over three miles of walking trails. Designated parking is available across the street in the Pierce County Fire District parking lot. This recreation space has waste bags and a water faucet available.

Willis D. Tucker Community Park in Snohomish, WA, features a nearly eight-acre dog park. This recreation space is designed with Fido in mind and features three fenced, off-leash areas: a six-acre open meadow, a 1.25-acre forest hiking area and a .20-acre space for older/shy/small dogs. Wright Park is a downtown Tacoma, WA, community recreation oasis of peace and serenity. Your leashed pup can stroll beside you along the wooded pathways past the scenic pond. This dog-friendly multi-use park also features playgrounds, sports courts and picnic areas.

Dog-friendly Edith Moulton Park in Kirkland, WA, offers an off-leash area for Fido. The dog park is fully fenced and allows your canine companion the opportunity to play and socialize in a secure space. Occupying 26 forested acres, Edith Moulton Park also offers trails, designated picnic areas with shelters, a playground and restrooms.

Lake Padden Park in Bellingham, WA, is a lovely public recreation space that offers both a fenced off-leash dog run and unfenced areas where pets are permitted to explore without restraints, including one with lake access. The fenced dog park is located near the ballfields in the southeastern region of the park.

Patmore Pit Dog Park is a 15-acre recreation area where Fido and his furry companions can roam, play and socialize off-leash. This park features a fenced agility area and a small dog area. Dogs love utilizing the open space for frisbee or fetch and enjoy strolling with their owners along the walking paths. Waste bags, trash receptacles, water and more are available at the park.

Bandix Dog Park boasts several acres of land for Fido and his furry pals to play off-leash. This large park features walking trails, open grassy areas and wooded spaces. Separate small and large dog areas are also offered to ensure pups play comfortably. Benches, waste bags, and portable bathrooms are provided.

Bring Fido to play at the Strawberry Fields for Rover Off-Leash Park within the Strawberry Fields Athletic Complex in Marysville, WA. Here, Fido and his furry friends will have plenty of room to roam within the fenced recreation space. The park features agility equipment, a small dog area, a double-gated entry/exit, water fountains and more. Ensure dogs are leashed when returning to the larger community park.

The Longview Off-Leash Dog Park, located at Gerhart Gardens Park in Longview, WA, features three acres with separated fenced areas for both small and large dogs to play. A covered shelter, benches and water are also available. The park is supported by Friends of Off Leash Areas (FOLA) and is maintained by FOLA and the City of Longview.

Martin Family Dog Park is a dog-friendly fenced space to enjoy with your pooch in Elma, WA. Dedicated to local community members Bill and Joan Martin, the fenced space is open to the public to use for free at any time.
