Dog-Friendly Activities Near Barnegat Lighthouse, NJ, US

Bring Fido to splash in the water at the pet-friendly Barnegat Light Beaches in Barnegat Light, NJ. Dogs are only allowed on the beaches from October 1st through April 15th. All pups visiting must be on a leash at all times, and owners must clean up after them.

The Barnegat Light Dog Park is on the north end of Long Beach Island in Barnegat Light, NJ. This pup recreation area features a double-gated entrance and dually functions as a ball field. All dog park users must obtain a dog park gate entry card and dog park tag.

Bring Fido to the pet-friendly Barnegat Lighthouse State Park in Barnegat Light, NJ, which is on the northern tip of Long Beach Island. While pets are not permitted on the jetty walkway or nature walk, you can bring your dog on the beach during the off-season, and there is a dog park on the premises, too.
