Peter Skene Ogden Trail Peter Skene Ogden Trail is a pet-friendly path in La Pine, OR. It's a moderately easy, 9.5-mile hike that will take about 6 hours to complete with Fido. If you enjoy the sound of flowing water, than you will love this hike that follows Paulina Creek to Paulina Lake passing waterfalls along the way. Mountain bikers are only allowed to ride this trail uphill, and although horses can use the hill in both directions they have a separate parallel trail. Please note that a Northwest Forest Pass is required. The trail starts at the Ogden Group Camp in Newberry National Volcanic Monument, just north of La Pine. See Details
