Praia Sao Gonçalo is a dog-friendly beach near Paraty, Brazil. This beautiful beach is located towards Angra dos Reis. The beach stretches over a long distance, allowing for lots of variety. There are bars and nightspots, but also quiet corners where your dog can run without bothering other tourists.

Uvita Beach is pet-friendly. Dogs are welcome to join their owners on the beach and have a paddle in the sea. This beautiful tropical setting is the ideal place to spend a day with your pooch.

Paraty Mirim State Park is a pet-friendly destination in Brazil. The park preserves an historic village that was once a bustling port town. Leashed dogs are welcome to join you as you explore the pretty coastal spot. The beaches are pretty and the water is perfect for a dip.

Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted to visit Land Of The Strays anymore. However, you can still donate to the cause and maybe even meet your future best friend.

Small dogs are welcome to join their owners at Floripa Shopping. Your pooch can enter the mall and certain stores, as long as they are being carried or pushed in a special cart. Floripa is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 10pm and Sunday from 11am to 9pm.

The Parcão da Lagoa is pet-friendly. The park still has ares where dogs can run without a leash, including grassy sections where they might meet other pups. Dog trainers often use this area to train pups up. The centerpiece of the area is a great view of the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon.

The Boardwalk of Copacabana is pet-friendly. This Rio classic is a popular sidewalk for pups to walk on a leash with their owners. The wavy pathway is usually full of people soaking up the sun and heading to the adjacent beach. The boardwalk is always open and leashed pups can enjoy it, as long as all mess is cleaned up after them.

Each Sunday morning, the two main avenues/boulevards in Zones 10 and 14 are closed to vehicles which allows families to freely take advantage of a 13 km. circuit by walking, biking, skating, etc. Pets of all sizes and shapes come with their owners to enjoy the day. Some wear scarves, t-shirts, funny outfits, and others come in their birthday suits. It is an absolute MUST for pets and their families in Guatemala.

Devil's Beach, despite its name, is actually paradise for pups! Locals know it as the best beach dog in the area, allowing dogs to run loose on the sand and in the shallows.

While not an official dog park, the UdeC campus is a very popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts and converts into an unofficial dog park on Sundays. Dogs are generally kept on a leash until you reach one of two fields (one past the duck pond and the other next to the main forum). People are generally very friendly and are looking to let their four-legged friends socialize as well.

Esmalteria Nacional da Heitor Penteado is pet-friendly. People getting their nails done are able to bring their pups with them for support. Relax with a nice pedicure, while your pup chills by your side. Esmalteria Nacional da Heitor Penteado is open Monday from 9:30am to 7:00pm and Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30am to 8:30pm.

Orla do Guaíba - Parque Moacyr Sclia is pet-friendly. It's one of the most beloved places in the area to see the sunset. In fact, this region is said to be the most beautiful in Brazil. Leashed pups can join their owners on the trails by the coast.

Matilha Cultural is a pet-friendly cultural center in Sao Paolo. They welcome you and your dog to enjoy a movie together, watch a concert, or take part in one of the other activities they host throughout the year. They accept donations of food to help feed the community and even host adoption drives for local dogs looking for their forever homes. Matilha Cultural is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12pm to 8pm and Sunday from 10am to 8pm.

Fido is welcome to play at Dog Park Cumbaya in Quito, EC. This fenced-in park has a bone-shaped pool to wade in, as well as tunnels, bridges and other agility obstacles for Fido to enjoy. Owners can sit at one of the tables or benches while their pup plays.

Feria Verde is pet-friendly. Every Saturday from 7:00am to 12:30pm, people and pups gather to shop a market full of kids items, canine items, natural products, and healthy food, all accompanied by good music. Fido might even sniff out some free samples. Afterwards, enjoy a bite to eat and play on the field next to the market. The market is open Tuesday from 1:00pm to 7:00pm and Saturday from 7am to 12:30pm.

Esplanada do Mineirao is a pet-friendly soccer stadium in Belo Horizonte. Cruzeiro, the team who play their games in the stadium, are one of the biggest multisport clubs in the country. They run a project called arcaobancada where they allow pets to watch a game with their owners. Check their website for game times and upcoming schedules.

Leashed dogs are welcome to join you at Verda del Lago Park in Maracaibo, VZ. There are paved walking paths in this park on the banks of Lake Maracaibo with panoramic views of the General Rafael Urdaneta Bridge. There is also a statue dedicated to the rescue dog, Tsunami, who helped save dozens of people in the aftermath of the 2026 Venezuela earthquakes.

Leroy Merlin is dog-friendly. The store allows dogs to come inside and join their owners as they peruse the items on offer. They even have a cart for you to walk with your pet quietly! Leroy Merlin is open Monday through Saturday from 8am until 10pm and Sunday from 9am to 8pm.

Community Theme Park Peru is exclusively for dogs. Located at the junction of Boulevard and San Borja Sur avenues.
