Evergreen Bark Park Evergreen Bark Park in Effingham, IL is located north of Evergreen Hollow Park and east of Workman Sports and Wellness Complex. Fido can play off-leash in either the large dog area or adjoining small dog space, both of which are fully fenced. Each area has a double gated entry and corrals allowing owners to unleash their pets prior to entering the space. Once funding permits, features of the park will include a pavilion, shade structures, benches, waste stations, and human water fountains with a dog-level water bowl and spout. Hawk Hollow Preserve Hawk Hollow Preserve in Bartlett, IL, offers 34 acres of off-leash area for dogs to enjoy along with a three-mile multipurpose trail connecting to trails in Mallard Lake and West Branch forest preserves.
