Whittier Narrows Recreation Area is pet friendly! This 1,492-acre park is located in the City of South El Monte, CA, and is one of Los Angeles County’s largest and most popular recreation areas. Bring your pooch along on a leash to explore the trail around the water. The park is located on both sides of the Pomona Freeway at Rosemead Boulevard and Santa Anita Avenue.
