Frances Short Pond at Thorpe Park Frances Short Pond at Thorpe Park is located along the FUTS trail in Flagstaff, AZ. The pond provides community fishing and a pet-friendly place to bring your pup. Interpretive signs encourage visitors to watch wildlife intentionally and regularly see how numerous birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and fish use this restored pond and riparian habitat.
