Dog Friendly Hiking Trails Near LOU Airport

Falls of the Ohio State Park in Clarksville, IN is dog friendly. Visit fossil beds dating from the Devonian period, walk the trails, visit the gardens surrounding the Interpretive Center, and enjoy a picnic surrounded by nature in the company of Fido. Dogs are permitted throughout the park and in the camping areas. Your pup must be on a six-foot leash at all times in the park.

Furry companions are invited to explore the pet-friendly Seneca Park in Louisville, KY with their owners. This 531-acre recreation space features an array of amenities for visitors, including walking paths, ballfields, a playground, sports courts and more. Leashed dogs are welcome to enjoy some exercise along the walking trails.

Louisville Loop is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors.
