Dog Friendly Hiking Trails Near MEJ Airport

Roche Park is a pet-friendly recreation area in Meadville, PA. Your leashed dog is welcome to join you for a short walk on the paved trail around the semi-wooded park, or you can pack a picnic to enjoy at one of the covered benches or picnic tables. Additional amenities include a playground, ball fields, waste receptacles and a restroom.

The Ernst Bike Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Meadville! The map below shows a trailhead where you can pick up the Ernst Bike Trail.
