Dog Friendly Hiking Trails Near MIA Airport

The Barnacle Historic State Park is a dog-friendly attraction in the Coconut Grove area of Miami, FL. The Barnacle itself is a house built in 1891, a throwback to a bygone era. Although Fido can't go inside the building, you can explore the 5 acres of land surrounding it together, including a winding buggy trail through the hammock and forest that still remains intact. There is an entrance fee to visit the park, and pets must be leashed and cleaned up after.

Leashed pups are welcome to join their owners for a walk around the dog-friendly Salvadore Park in Coral Gables, FL. This local recreation space features amenities for the whole family, including a dog run, playground, tennis and pickleball courts.
