Dog Friendly Hiking Trails Near OKK Airport

Wildcat Creek Reservoir Park in Kokomo, IN is dog friendly. Spanning 30 acres, the park has two open-air shelters, a playground, bank fishing access, and a 1.3 mile path known as "Pesheaw" Nature Trail. Please keep Fido leashed during your visit.

The Nickel Plate Trail (Peru to Cassville Section) is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Kokomo! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the Nickel Plate Trail (Peru to Cassville Section).
