Monty Andrews Arboretum is a pet-friendly botanical garden located inside of West Blalock Park in Venice, FL. Bring Fido with you while you stroll the 4.5 acres of woodlands, open fields, paved pathways, picnicking spots and native gardens, all with informative markers along the way. During December, they offer a holiday light display. Dogs are welcome as long as they're leashed and cleaned up after.

This grassy area features benches, litter receptacles, picnic tables, and scenic views and is the starting point for the Legacy Trail, an 18.5-mile long multi-use path for walkers, joggers and bikers. No motor vehicles are allowed on the trail.

Laurel Park is a pet-friendly community park in Nokomis, FL. Your leashed dog can join you for a relaxing stroll on the paved walkways, grilling out & picnicking at one of the shelters, hanging out on the spacious lawn, or watching a local sports game. This park also offers access to the 18.5-mile Legacy Trail.
