Bring Fido to Shoshone Falls Park to marvel at "the Niagara of the West" in Twin Falls, ID. The park is dog friendly and features open green space, trails, picnic tables, grills, benches, restrooms, drinking fountains, a concession stand, a boat launch to Snake River, and, of course, Shoshone Falls with a 212-foot drop at a width of 900 feet. Eagle Island State Park is a 545-acre, dog-friendly park in Eagle, ID, home to five miles of trails that can be enjoyed by dogs and their owners. You and Fido are welcome to enjoy the surrounding hiking trails that weave around sections of the Payette River through meadows among the huge pine trees. There are a number of cabins and campsites dotted around the picturesque park as well. Fido is welcome to join you around the park, but is not allowed to enter the designated swimming area.

The Ridge to River Trail System is a dog-friendly network of over 190 miles of trails, weaving around the foothills of the capital city of Idaho, Boise. They vary in difficulty, ranging from steep and difficult pathways through the hills, to more gradual inclines.
