Spring Meadow Lake State Park Spring Meadow Lake State Park is a pet-friendly destination in Helena, MT. Leashed pups can tag along from October 15 until April 15 on the .8-mile nature trail. The park has interpretive signs to enjoy while you and your furry friend walk around the lake and take a break at a picnic table on their pavilion. Hell Roaring Trail Hell Roaring Trail is a straightforward 4.4 mile out and back dog-friendly trail in Gallatin Gateway, MT. Leashed dogs are welcome to hike alongside you on a route which should take 3 hours to complete. Situated between Bozeman and Big Sky, the trail starts by leading hikers through steep dense forest and gradually into open land with an abundance of wildflowers. Pause at Hell Roaring Creek and admire a distant snow capped peak before continuing across the stream. Hell Roaring Trail attracts hikers, trail runners and horseback riders, and is best traversed between May and October. The most popular turn-around point is where Gallatin National Forest reaches Lee Metcalf boundary at the 3 mile point. See Details
Refuge Point Loop Trail Bring Fido on this dog-friendly, 2.5-mile loop trail near West Yellowstone, Montana. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it features amazing views above Earthquake Lake's upper point. Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet in all designated recreation areas including parking lots, picnic areas, day hiking trails, trailheads, interpretive centers, restrooms, boat docks and piers, and developed campgrounds. Dogs may be off-leash on non-day hiking trails and in the backcountry but should be leashed when encountering other hikers. See Details

You and Fido can enjoy the nine-mile Prairie Marsh Wildlife Drive Auto Tour and hike the Prairie Marsh Boardwalk trail which is just under one mile in length and rated as moderate. Biking, wildlife viewing and hunting are also popular. To protect nesting birds and other wildlife, pets must be leashed and remain on the Prairie Marsh Wildlife Drive or Prairie Marsh Boardwalk trail except when used for hunting during the appropriate seasons and in designated areas of the refuge.
