July brings six hotels that are opening their doors to furry guests for the first time. From the Big Apple to The Electric City, Fido can rest his paws at these newly pet-friendly accommodations across America this month.

Virgin Hotels New York City

Virgin Hotels is happy to bring its unique style and sterling pet-friendly reputation to Virgin Hotels New York City. Upon arrival, four-legged guests are showered with perks such as plush beds, food and water dishes, a branded bandana and yummy treats. Modern chambers come equipped with hardwood floors, complimentary WiFi, stocked mini bars, private dressing rooms and floor-to-ceiling windows offering picturesque city views. Enjoy dinner and drinks at the rooftop restaurant, exercise in a state-of-the-art fitness center and soak up some rays on the poolside deck.

Fido will feel right at home on the patio at The Grey Dog, a great spot for coffee or lunch in the adjacent Flatiron District.

The Maj Hotel

Located in the city’s historic museum district, The Maj Hotel offers boutique pet-friendly accommodations in the City of Brotherly Love. Cozy rooms feature hardwood floors, walnut work desks, lounge chairs and private bathrooms with walk-in showers. Guests can stay connected using complimentary WiFi access, grab a bite to eat at the on-site cafe, work out in the 24/7 fitness center and walk to no fewer than five museums located less than a mile from the hotel.

Only four blocks away, the Urban Saloon offers a variety of cold brews and dog-friendly outdoor seating.

The Maj Hotel accepts one pet up to 50 lbs for an additional fee of $50 plus tax per stay, plus a $300 refundable damage deposit.

Named after Benjamin Franklin’s social club founded in 1727, The Junto aspires to be a gathering place for visitors and locals alike, including those of the furry variety. Contemporary rooms, suites and lofts are outfitted with custom wood flooring and rugs, living areas with sofa beds, dining tables, comfy window benches and bathrooms with walk-in showers. On-site dining options include a coffee shop, wood-hearth restaurant and rooftop bar. Guests can also utilize the 24-hour in-house gym, shop for outdoor equipment at the Gear Garage, and stock up on drinks and snacks in the lobby market.

Located right across the street, Goodale Park allows leashed pups to roll in the grass and stroll around the pond.

The Junto welcomes a maximum of two dogs up to 70 lbs for an additional fee of $100 per stay.

Canine travelers can bark at the country’s only authentic Dutch windmill before resting and relaxing at Home2 Suites by Hilton Holland. Spacious suites designed for long-term stays include work desks with ergonomic chairs, living areas with sofa sleepers, and kitchens with full-sized refrigerators and dishwashers. Perched on the banks of the Missouri River, SpringHill Suites by Marriott Great Falls delivers top-notch dog-friendly accommodations in a contemporary downtown setting. Apartment-style suites are equipped with separate living areas with sofa beds, writing desks, microwaves and mini refrigerators, and free high-speed internet access. Feast on a delicious breakfast buffet, exercise in the on-site gym, take a dip in the indoor pool and unwind for the day on the riverfront fire pit patio.

Fido can play off leash and run the obstacle course at Pacific Steel & Recycling Trailside Dog Park, located just across the river from the hotel.
