For an exciting day at the Rediscover Downtown Skokie Event
WOOF WALK DOG PARADE & ADOPTION EVENT
Saturday, June 7, 2014 11 A.M. - 1 P.M.
The fun begins with a parade of ADOPTABLE precious costumed pups & dogs from C.A.R.E. animal shelter, as well as our local friends & families joining in with their own furry friends. After the parade a costume contest will take place and be judged by our chosen Kings & Queens from School District 69. Afterwards, we’re inviting everyone to meet & greet immediately following the parade for an adoption event. For more information visit www.downtownskokie.org.
11 A.M. WOOF WALK registration
12N WOOF WALK PARADE begins (Starting at multi-use trail on Oakton/Niles Avenue & Searle Parkway). Terri Hemmert, WXRT has been invited to emcee parade. WOOF WALK adoption event immediately following.
