Little Bay Park Clean-up Event

Calling all winter housebound humans and dogs!! Come down to Little Bay Dog Run and help advocate for the safety and maintenance of the park. We need volunteers to help redistribute the gravel, pick up waste, rake leaves, and pull weeds. NYC Parks Department will be on-site to supply gloves, garbage bags, tools, and whatever else is needed to complete the job. We launched our inaugural clean-up event this past November, and it was a successful team operation!! Little Bay Dog Run was founded by a group of dog owners who needed a safe space for their pets to run free. With the help of council member Abel, Community Board 7, NYC Parks, and State Senator Tony Avella, they were able to accomplish this dream. Since the establishment, the original group has disbursed making there an immediate need for park volunteers. Little Bay Dog Run attracts lots of pawtrons on a daily basis due to the spacious enclosure and the incredible views of the Throggs Neck Bridge and the East River. It is one of the nicest dog runs in New York City!! Sooo...shake those winter blues and get pumped!! Rub shoulders with some of the coolest people in Queens.......yo! Help keep Little Bay lookin mighty fiiinne! Dogs are welcome, but please bring someone with you who can look after your pooch. We can secure the dogs in another part of the dog run so that we can safely and effectively clean the park.
