Description
Clackamas County dog owners have additional low-cost opportunities to license, vaccinate, spay/neuter, and microchip their pets, thanks to new programs being offered through Clackamas County Dog Services and the Clackamas Dogs Foundation.
Mobile Veterinary Service: Dog Services is partnering with Good Neighbor Vet to offer low-cost vaccine, exam and microchipping clinics every fourth Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The services will be available at the County's Animal Adoption and Education Center at 13141 SE Highway 212 in Clackamas.
Services include the following:
· A free rabies vaccination and free veterinary exam with the purchase of a dog license ($24-41)
· A free rabies vaccination and free veterinary exam with the purchase of a microchip ($25, which includes inserting the chip and lifetime registration)
· A $5/year discount on the cost of a dog license with the presentation of the dog's microchip number to Dog Services
Everyone is welcome; no advance appointments are needed.
