Stay Pet Hotel Pool Paw-Tay

Stay Pet Hotel invites Portlanders and their pooches to attend its 6th Annual Pool Paw-Tay on August 27 from 6 - 8 p.m. Stay will be transformed into a tropical paradise for the evening, with doggie pools, ice cream for dogs from Salty's North Portland Pet Supply and food available for purchase courtesy of Ate-Oh-Ate Hawaiian Restaurant. The island-themed event will also include a silent auction and the annual dog bikini/resort wear contest. Proceeds from this year's event will benefit Fences for Fido, a volunteer-run organization working in northwest Oregon and southwest Washington to improve the lives of dogs living outdoors on the end of chains, tethers or in small kennels by building free fenced yards, insulated dog houses, and providing spay and neuter services. The silent auction also will be available live during the event on Stay Pet Hotel’s Facebook page for those who can’t make it to the party. Auction items from McMenamins Grand Lodge, 808 Grinds, Popina Swimwear and Stay will be up for grabs to the highest bidder.
