SUNSET GUIDED MEDITATION WITH YOUR DOG, overlooking the ocean, monthly, in the heart of Encinitas, California! (North County San Diego Area) WHO? - Hosted by Certified Meditation Instructors; Vedic Educators with The Chopra Center for Wellbeing. - Founders of SoulPlayMates – Dog wellbeing education & rescue www.soulplaymates.org WHERE? ENCINITAS VIEW POINT PARK 505 S Vulcan Ave, Encinitas, CA 92024 (B/t Cornish Dr & D Street) - This dog park is across the street from the Encinitas public library. - We’ll meet in the elevated area on the west side with the AMAZING view of the ocean. WHAT TIME? - Come 45 mins before sunset - If you don’t know the time of sunset, Google it! - 30 mins before sunset we’ll begin with a guided silent walking meditation, followed by a 15min sitting meditation. WHAT TO BRING? - Bring yourself & your friendly/well-socialized canine companion - Standard (non-retractable) leash - Something to sit on for meditation (towel/blanket/chair) ANYTHING ELSE TO KNOW? - No fee or charge - No prior experience with meditation necessary. We’ll provide simple guidance that every person and dog can follow. - We ask that dogs to stay leashed throughout the walking and sitting meditation - The dogs (and we!) will enjoy the meditation most if you exercise your pups beforehand.
