A Day of Fun With Your Dog To Fight Cancer! Bark For LifeTM – a noncompetitive day for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer, as well as honor the contributions of our canine caregivers – returns to Lyndhurst on April 10th 8:30AM – 12PM. Bring your best canine friend out for a fun-filled day starting with a walk and continuing with demonstrations, contests, games and raffles for the whole family! Dogs can get in on even more fun with the American Kennel Club’s My Dog Can Do That! interactive event. Port Chester Obedience Training Club will feature My Dog Can Do That! from 9AM – 12PM, where participants’ dogs can try out agility, rally and nose work. Dogs who participate in My Dog Can Do That! must be at least six months old and have proof of rabies vaccination. Bark For Life, an affiliated fundraising event of the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, is an event that celebrates cancer survivors, remembers loved ones lost, and fights back against a disease that has already taken too much. The funds raised truly make a difference in the fight against cancer and will benefit the local community directly through a number of programs and services. In addition, these funds will contribute to research that will continue to increase our knowledge of cancer and ultimately save as many lives as possible from this disease.
