Join Helen Woodward Animal Center on Remember Me Thursday in Balboa Park, San Diego, as we remember adoptable pets and spread awareness for pet adoption!
On Remember Me Thursday, September 22, 5:45 to 7 p.m., grab a blanket and join the Center at Balboa Park, at 6th Avenue and El Prado, FOR A FREE DOG-FRIENDLY AND FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENING candle-lighting event to honor orphan pets.
--Giveaways from Blue Buffalo pet food
--First 100 adults and 50 kids get a free Remember Me Thursday t-shirt
--First 25 dogs get a free Remember Me Thursday bandana
--Kids' coloring and crafts
--Live music by Maddie Leigh
--Dinner for purchase from local food and dessert trucks (a portion of the sales is donated to the Center)
--Special guests at our dusk candle-lighting presentation.
